AWANA
As parents, we want our children to grow up with good values, integrity and a solid spiritual foundation. That is why every week children ages 2 through 5th grade from the Plantation and surrounding communities, meet at our church in a safe and secure environment for learning and have lots of fun through the Awana program.
Children meet in age-appropriate groups on a weekly basis, where they have worship time, Bible teaching/Scripture memorization and game time.
The Awana acronym is derived from 2 Timothy 2:15: “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed”. That is why our children, as young workers, are rewarded for remembering God’s Word as they recite their verses with their leaders every week.
