The Pastoral Team of Peters Road Baptist Church is making the recommendation to bring on staff the following candidates:
Nelson A. Diaz - Digital Pastor
The digital pastor will oversee, nurture, and help develop strategies for the success of Peters Road Baptist Church’s online presence retention. Nelson Diaz has a Seminary Degree from Leavell College at NOBTS. He has served at different capacities in ministry through the years. He has been instrumental in helping our church with its digital needs.
The Internship Program exists to help those called into full-time ministry to learn the skills, character, and competencies necessary to successfully lead a ministry. An intern is to select a ministry project with the help of the Pastoral Team, so that he or she may gain the experience necessary to effectively lead in ministry. Each intern is required to work 15-20 hours a week toward the completion of their project. The program has a 1-2 year commitment. Interns attend 2 mentoring sessions per month with Pastor Mike, and 1 monthly session with Pastor Lema.
Lizmary Bermudez - Ministry Leader Intern (Youth Worship)
Lizmary has committed to develop the worship team in our Youth Ministry. She is currently a college student, and has demonstrated a call to full-time ministry. She plans on developing 2 rotating bands, and 2 worship leaders, as she continues to teach our youth how to worship God.
Marqui Cambronero - Pastoral Intern (Youth)
Marqui has committed to developing the Youth Ministry of our church. His goal is to increase attendance of our youth by 100 each year, and develop 12 Youth Life Stations each year. He has demonstrated the calling to full-time ministry, and is currently a a student in Luther Rice College & Seminary.
Alejandro Garcia - Pastoral Intern (Young Adults)
Alejandro has committed to developing the Young Adults Ministry of our church. His goal is to increase attendance of our youth to 75 by Fall 2022. He has demonstrated the calling to full-time ministry, and is currently a student in Moody Bible Institute.
